Latest development: Single Page Donations

I've just been in to the ChurchInsight developers' office. I'm not sure I increased productivity but the banter was worth it. Now I can give you a sneak peek into what they are currently working on, as they strive continually to make ChurchInsight better and better.
Headline news: we have started development into what we call 'Single Page Donations' – where organisations can receive donations from members and the public, wait for it … on a single page. This means that a lot of the info adding on multiple pages and steps, is taken away so that people can donate quickly and easily.
Other news...
The forehead you can see in the background belongs to talented coder Al, he is busy working on some features that will help you manage users in the database much better. What about the back in picture on the left? Well that's Marcus he is busy scheduling work for the team in the next development cycle, he's next for a photo!

The chaps are currently putting a lot of effort into automating our pre-release testing of existing features. This will help us to ensure that new changes don't disrupt the existing features you rely on and will allow us to focus more of our testers' time on ensuring new features have that WOW factor when they reach you.
As ever the dev team spend some time looking at any bugs in the system and fixing them.
I'll pop my head round more often to get news on what the guys are working on and keep you posted. That's James in the picture, our talented software developer who kindly leant me his phone for the photo, I left mine at home!
If you have any ideas for the development team, make sure you let us know over on Twitter or Facebook. |
